Always up for a good time, Miley Cyrus can't stop the laughs as she heads off for a day of work at the studio in Toluca Lake, CA on September 22. In contrast to her grungy style as of late, Miley cleaned up in a pretty black and white printed frock (check out Meghan Los Angeles’ Goldie Dress in Black or Walter's Silk Georgette Dress in Abstract Animal) paired with her current fav chunky platform sandals (try Farylrobin's slimmer Jessica in Black) with a roomy grey tote over her shoulder (check out Rough Roses' very similar Riley Messenger in Ash). Miley kept her peepers shades with dark aviators, but couldn't hide her amusement with the paparazzi as they snapped her making her way around town. Maybe she's moved on from her harsh remarks about how miserable she is in front of the cameras? Speaking of moving on, at the age of 17 many of Miley's peers will be applying to college over the next few weeks in hopes of getting into their dream school next fall. Unlike Emma Watson, who was dying to head off to Brown University, Miley says she's putting her college education on hold and following some advice from her grandma: “My sister went to college for two years and then decided she wants to be a musician and now she is a musician. I just already know what I want to do and if there is ever a time where I want to go back, I can. I learned that from my grandma. She went to college at 67 and graduated at 70 and was a teacher from then. She’s 77 now, so you can go whenever you want.” Do you agree with MC that a college degree is no big deal, or do you think she's setting a bad example for her young fans?

how on earth is this girl expected to be a strong/healthy woman who can take misery & being bankrupt?

It's hard to make decisions for your own good when you're a celebrity - especially for someone who has to take the pressure of being a role model to a lot of kids. I respect Miley's decision of putting college on hold. See, college isn't like high school. You commit mistakes, you pretty much have to pay really hard for it. If you're not ready to go to college, then don't go there yet.

College doesn't teach the things Miley needs to learn, and she's wrong about being able to go back and get what she needs... like good parenting, for example.guest on Oct 06 2010 @ 04:58 PM

Who is going to know that she doesnt go to college....hahaguest on Oct 10 2010 @ 05:07 PM

I love this look. Miley looks very classy and fresh. Her skin looks amazing, and her white teeth really pop against her skin tone. I love her nails and handbag as well. Super cute, Miley!guest on Jan 28 2012 @ 06:10 PM
