NOT STRIVING FOR PERFECTION

Olivia Wilde dazzles on the blue carpet of the premiere of Tron: Legacy at the El Capitan Theatre in Los Angeles on December 11. The much anticipated sci-fi fantasy flick finally came out in theatres on Friday and debuted at #1 over the weekend, pulling in over $43 million. Not bad, O! Standing in front of the neon lit press wall, the futuristic blue lighting is a great complement to Olivia's shimmering Pucci gown (glam up this holiday season in Chaudry's Sequin Dress in Gold or Sue Wong's All Over Beaded Mini in Rust/Black). Olivia complemented her dramatic dress with a gold clutch (like Whiting & Davis' Shirred Frame Clutch in Gold) and gold disc earrings (check out Anna Beck's Gold Plated Dish Earring in Gold). I'm not sure if it's the lighting, but it looks like she's darkened her hair slightly, and I love that she added some curls instead of just wearing it straight like she usually does. The only comment I have to make is that her makeup looks a little heavy, especially the blush – but then again, could just be the lighting. What are your thoughts on O's premiere style, does this work for her figure? I thought Olivia looked a little slimmer at her last public appearance, and it turns out she had a rigorous training schedule while filming Tron. She chatted with Women's Health magazine about her regimen, appearing on the cover of the January 2011 issue: “I worked with a personal trainer, so I did about an hour of cardio five or six days a week, weight training three times a week, mixed martial arts/fighting three times a week, and that’s a lot more than my normal [routine]!” A lot more than mine too! However, Olivia continued she may not be keeping up the hard work: “Striving for physical perfection takes a lot of energy. For me it’s important to come home from work, cook a meal with my husband, and spend the afternoon reading a book, instead of always running around.” I have to say I agree with her! How important is staying physically fit for you readers?
