Enjoying a fun filled afternoon out with the fam, Ashlee Simpson and husband Pete Wentz take the adorable Bronx to a playdate in Beverly Hills on November 6. For a breezy Saturday afternoon, Ash got all dolled up in a vintage inspired taupe mini dress (check out Da-Nang's Crystal Aztec Tunic in Clay or Bailey 44's White Swan Shirt in Champagne for similar options) worn over slimming black leggings (try C&C California's Full Length Legging in Black) with black ankle boots (similar to Farylrobin's Beth Ankle Boot in Black). Ash's new pixie cut is the perfect length to show off the Chanel heart earrings she debuted two weeks ago, and her black studded tote adds just the right amount of metal (try Antoinette Lee Designs' Olivia Cross Body Handbag in Black). While recent tabloid reports hinted at some trouble between Ash and Pete over his new female bandmate in the Black Cards, Pete shot down more rumors this week about Ashlee taking the mic in his new band: “[Ashlee] is such a great artist, and we made a deal with ourselves that we’d be supportive of each other. We share a son, we write songs together to sing to him, we help each other. But she wasn’t ever going to sing in the band.” Hmm, how do you think Ashlee feels about Pete subtly shooting down her vocal abilities?
