NO SUPERMAN SEQUEL 4 KATE

The elusive Kate Bosworth was spotted leaving Hollywood club One Sunset on August 25 on the arm of her boyfriend, model James Rousseau, looking lovely as always. Wearing a light wash denim jacket with a bright fuchsia scarf (like Elizabeth Gillet Ltd's Nadira Wrap in Fuchsia) and a floral patterned top (check out For Love and Liberty's Shirred Front Top in Khaki), Bosworth slipped her gams into a super skinny pair of black denim (like Desert Blue's The Phoenix Skinny Jean in Black) and her toes into a pair of white sandals (Matiko Footwear's Juju Sandal in White are perfect for these late summer months). Loving the vibrant red lip as well, KB! In Bosworth movie news, it seems that the big mucky mucks at the studio that produced Superman Returns weren't too pleased with Superman's return. Says one exec, "'Superman' didn't quite work as a film in the way that we wanted it to. It didn't position the character the way he needed to be positioned. Had 'Superman' worked in 2006, we would have had a movie for Christmas of this year or 2009, but now the plan is just to reintroduce Superman. We’re going to try to go dark to the extent that the character allows it." Auf wiedersehen, Kate- you're out! Sounds like these studio execs are trying to cash in on the dark success of The Dark Knight- what do you think?
