Heading out in a casual "couture" look, Beyoncé Knowles steps out for a lunch date with her husband Jay-Z at Cipriani's in New York City on May 22. Bey proudly proclaims her cuisine of choice with her Wildfox Couture "Let Me Eat Cake" top (check out 291 Venice's quirky graphic tees like the Hippie Kiss Short Sleeve Tee in Angel), still able to squirm into a pair of high waist peg leg jeans (like 7 For All Mankind's High Waist Gwenevere in Trapeze) despite her affinity for dessert. Beyoncé accessorized her sweet 'fit with a black patent tote (love the texture of Julie K's Robin in Black) and black platform sandals (opt for Gwyneth Shoes' fun Trixie in Black), showing off her new blonde curls as she made her way into the eatery. I think the top is really cute but I'm not loving the fit of the jeans or the hair color at all. Both seem to fit her poorly! What are your thoughts on Bey's street style, readers? A few nights earlier, Beyoncé was asked to perform at the White House for the second time by President Obama and the First Lady, who enjoyed dancing to Bey's rendition of "At Last" at the Inaugural Dinner. This time the occasion was the second State Dinner honoring Mexican President Felipe Calderon, who spent a week with Obama tackling immigration policy, the gulf oil spill and other pertinent issues. Eva Longoria and George Lopez were among other lucky celebrity Latinas invited to attend the gala affair, who nibbled on custom cuisine from famous Latin fusion chef Rick Bayless. Sounds like one fun filled fiesta!
