NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTIONS

Cameron Diaz went out for a chilly stroll in NYC and made her way to a hearty Italian lunch at Morandi in the West Villiage on January 23. There’s nothing incredibly special about this typical Cam ‘fit, but it works perfectly for her and for the season. Cam started with slouchy black wedge boots, dark skinnies (try Desert Blue’s Twin Blue Jean in Twin Blue), and a comfy grey sweater (like Smitten’s Droopy Turtleneck Sweater in Light Grey). Bundling up in a thick black jacket (fight the cold with Rails’ Indya Hoodie in Black) and a knit black hat, Cam completed her look with a huge white tote (check out Linea Pelle’s irresistible Sydney Large Shoulder Bag in White for spring). She just can’t get enough of her white purses! What do you think of Cameron’s wintry look? It’s that time of year for celebs to dish their New Year’s resolutions, and Cam recently spilled hers: "I have always had the same New Year resolutions: to stop smoking, to start wearing a bra and to stop shopping." Ok, no one likes cancer sticks, but to start wearing a bra? I’m personally not a fan of the saggy look a la LiLo, but I’ve never noticed Cameron looking droopy – so maybe it’s a style that works for her? One more resolution should be added to this list: to be a better actress! Though she is one of the highest paid actresses worldwide, Cameron was nominated for two Razzie awards for her sub-par performance in What Happens in Vegas: “Worst Actress of 2008” and “Worst Screen Couple of 2008” for the same flick. Wonder how Ashton Kutcher missed out on the Worst Actor nomination, since he played the other half of that couple? I smell Hollywood sexism!
