Leighton Meester was spotted looking extra cozy while exiting her trailer on the set of "Gossip Girl" earlier this afternoon, December 7, braving the chilly NY temps to film scenes with her co-stars. For her ensemble, Leighton started with a warm-looking navy coat (check out either Woo's Martin Coat in Navy or Walter's Wool Poet Sleeve Coat in Purple) and a voluminous scarf (you can't go wrong with Alice + Olivia's Tri-Colored Scarf in Taupe), and then slipped into a pair of super skinny grey denim (try Siwy's Hannah Jean in Rain, or if you are looking for a pair of grey jean with some distressing, check out Denim of Virtue's Patience 5 Pocket Tapered Leg Jean in Stormy Sky) and a pair of nude leather booties. The finishing touches to Leighton's winter look was a cool grey tote (take a peek at Trace's Ty Satchel in Charcoal) and her trademark voluminous brunette waves. I think LM looks adorable here - do you agree, readers? While Leighton has been pretty vocal about how serious she is about her music career, she spoke out before her performance at KIIS FM's Jingle Ball and said how her album will drop in early 2010. She says, "You know, it's weird — I'm still writing. I'm about to start a movie that's all about country music, so I'm definitely trying to keep them separated 'cause I really am starting to grasp a hold of that and I really love it." Meester continues, "I'm thinking maybe sometime in February or March just so that I have a really good time doing the movie and finishing up 'Gossip Girl.' And then I'll have a little bit of time to tour and really get into it and do a live show. There's one called 'You're Not as Cool as You Think You Are.' It's pretty much about anybody who thinks that the song isn't about them, you know? And it's really funny and it's cute. It's really poppy — it's kind of like Katy Perry meets, like, Regina Spektor. It's really cool production and very sassy." I can't wait to hear!
