Newly engaged Katy Perry enjoys a Saturday morning outing with her fiancé Russell Brand in LA on January 23. The duo picked up java before heading to a furniture store on Melrose to check out some options for their new abode. For her shopping trip, KP started with standard black skinnies (switch it up with Serfontaine's Fox Peg Snakebite in Black with edgy zipper details) and a white tee with shredded side panels (similar to Raw 7's Shredded Tunic in White), topped by a black vest (like Gold Hawk's Men's Vest in Black/Blue). Katy accessorized with a classic quilted Chanel purse (keep the chain strap but give it a twist with Inge Christopher's Jaipur Curved Frame Pouch in Multi) and a simple silver pendant necklace (opt for Michele Michel's Hammered Heart Pendant in Silver). The focal point: electric blue suede brogues tastefully complemented by a black fedora. They're a little costumey with this 'fit but I'm loving the 50's throwback style – I would wear them in a heartbeat! What do you think of Katy's look? Since their holiday engagement was announced, KP has mostly kept quiet about her wedding plans, but a source close to the hot new item shared details of their engagement dinner held in LA earlier this week: “It was a lovely evening, for close friends and family. It was thrown mainly for Russell’s benefit - a chance for him to meet Katy’s relatives and friends, including her old school chums. He was incredibly nervous.” Whatever nerves he had must have worn off, as KP's parents tolds the paps Russell is already "part of the family" while leaving the restaurant.
