MODESTY IS BEAUTIFUL

The always gorgeous Leighton Meester was spotted walking her dog on the way to her trailer on the set of "Gossip Girl" in NYC earlier this morning, September 22, looking fresh and fantastic. Sporting a neutral toned outfit, Leighton started with a beige cardigan (check out Smitten's Capsleeve 2 Pocket Short Cardigan in Wheat) over a matching tank (like Rails' Taylor Tank in Bark), and paired with faded grey denim (just like Denim of Virtue's Patience 5 Pocket Tapered Jean in Faded Grey) and slouchy leather boots. She accessorized her simple daytime look with Wayfarer-esque sunnies and a charcoal leather bag (Lesa Wallace Handbags' Vegetable Tan Ricky Bag in Charcoal is a similar option), in addition to her slightly haggard but nonetheless adorable pooch. Leighton gave an interview to OK! Weekly recently, speaking out about how the smash success of "Gossip Girl" has changed her life for the better. But, unlike her selfish character Blair (who I am obsessed with, BTW), Leighton's modesty is truly beautiful. She says, "It’s changed everything for the better. It's different, but I'm happy. This is the best life that I could ask for, and it's more than I thought it could be. I remember looking through magazines or watching movies even just a couple of years ago and being like, 'I really want to be part of that,' but not realizing what that was. I didn't understand it and now this is my life and it's so funny! I couldn't be happier." Seriously, could she be more likable?
