MK'S WEIGHT GAIN?

After not appearing for what seems like forever in public together, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen posed at the launch of Elizabeth and James at Holt Renfrew in Toronto, Canada on August 25, opting for simple outfits with knockout heels. Mary-Kate chose a basic black coat (try Suzabelle's Nicolet Trench Coat in Black) that she belted with a leather belt (similar to Motif 56's Opal Belt in Black), and finished off her outfit with Miu Miu's Cabachon Heels. Ashley, on the other hand, chose a charcoal grey sweater (like Trina Turk's cozy Kylie Sweater in Platinum, or, for a short sleeve option -it is still summer!- try Qi Cashmere's Yoke Cabled Scoopneck Top in Storm) with Elizabeth and James' white Edith Shorts (check out True Religion's Joey Short in Body Rinse), a few antique gold coin necklaces (try Maya Brenner Designs' Santorini Coin Necklace in Vermeil), and Prada's Studded T-Bar Sandals. What do you think of their looks, both individual and together? Was there a look you liked better? I think Ashley wins this one for me, I am always a sucker for charcoal combined with white - and the shoes really knock it out of the park! In ridiculous Olsen news, the new issue of Star Magazine is reporting that Mary-Kate is bloated and gaining a ton of weight - right, because she looks so huge here (note the sarcasm)! A source tells the mag that MK is "so bloated they barely recognized her, adding, "Mary-Kate's weight gain is definitely freaking her out. It was kind of shocking to everyone - no one thought she could gain this much weight! But now Mary-Kate's working out and trying to cut back on partying, so she's getting back on track."
