MIXING MASCULINE AND FEMININE

Olivia Palermo was photographed stepping out for the Jaeger London show at London Fashion Week on September 17, smiling before heading into the show that was held at the BFC showspace at Somerset House. As usual, Olivia made a style statement, this time mixing masculine and feminine elements in a single look. She started by pairing a Reiss white blazer with black embellishments (check out Yoana Baraschi's Tux Knit Blazer in Milk) with a frilly Jaeger blouse (for an ultra-feminine blouse that's perfect for the upcoming fall months, try Joie's Newbury Blouse in Caviar Print), and then slipped into a sheer black Elizabeth and James maxi skirt (get the look with a bit more coverage by choosing Great China Wall's Butterfly Long Skirt in Black) and a chunky pair of Charlotte Olympia heels. On the accessories front, OP wore a pair of oversized sunglasses while toting a bright blue clutch (get a pop of color with Julie K Handbags' Brit Cobra Clutch in Teal), and looked to keep her jewelry to a minimum. Are you a fan of this look for Olivia, everyone - or is there too much going on here for your liking? For those of you who are fans of Miss Palermo, you might be pleased to hear that she has some exciting projects in the works. Says Olivia: "I'm launching a blog this month. I pushed it back a little bit to make sure it’s just perfect; so it will launch at the end of this month for sure. We’re just working out the dates right now but I’m really, really excited. It’s going to be more focused on my influences throughout my travels and also a little bit of beauty and fashion pictures [of items] that you can buy now. It has a little bit of everything. But I do love fashion and I have a great appreciation for it so to be able to share some style tips is always cool." Any of you excited to check this out?
