Letting loose on Saturday night, Jessica Simpson looked a little disheveled as she made her way back to the car after a meal with beau Tony Romo in West Hollywood. The "are they on the rocks or not?" couple dined at Eva Longoria's Beso eatery on April 11, enjoying a double date with little sis Ashlee and Papa Joe for some of Eva's delish Latin fusion cuisine. Looks like Jess turned to a pitcher of sangria to cope with the awkward family sitch - the look on her face is anything but sober! Jessica's pumpkin orange 'fit isn't so bad, but the stringy hair and flat, dark roots make me cringe - did I miss something or is the grunge look coming back? For her dinner date, Jess started with a Hawaiian floral mini dress (try the similar shade of Gold Hawk's Long Shoulder Garden Party Dress in Orange or Ingwa Melero's sexy floral print Printed Sahara Dress in Blue/Berry) and wooden platform stilettos, carrying a sunny yellow ostrich handbag (Carla Mancini's Hobo with Front Lock in Tan comes in a similar buttery hue) with an assortment of peace charm bracelets dangling from her wrist (check out Ettika's Peace Leather Bracelet in a rainbow of shades with Alex and Ani's Peace Expandable Wire Bangle Set in Gold). Besides the hair, the super plumped up lips and fiery coral lipgloss are a tragic combo. How can Ashlee sit through a meal with her and not clue her in? What do you think of Jessica's 'fit overall - does it work for her? Although Jessica's country career is officially dwindling, she'll be laughing all the way to the bank now that the Miss USA Pageant contestants wore bikinis from the Jessica Simpson Collection when the competition aired over the weekend. Jessica's publicist told New York's Daily News: "Identical $104 white 'n' gold string bikinis were especially created for the contest, as well as the $88 bright green string bikinis modeled by the crown-chasers during a pre-pageant photo shoot in Las Vegas." Love that she oh-so-subtly mentioned the price tag - but I guess you gotta do whatever it takes to make a sale these days!
