MAMA CALLED THE DOCTOR…

The trendiest mom on the block, Jessica Alba, was snapped out with baby Honor Marie on August 8 as she made her way to the pediatrician’s office in Brentwood, CA. Mama and baby are both in good health, especially Jessica who I must say is in great shape! Clearly motherhood suits her, as she recently gushed, "I'd like to have as many children as my body will allow - and I'd adopt if I still want more children after that." For her trip to the doc, Jess had her signature side mini-braid happening and wore a loose black and ivory mini dress (step it up with Miguelina’s Lindsi Dress in Black and White) with a plain matching leather tote (like Posse New York’s Carolina Bag in Black Pearl), standard aviators (check out JeeVice’s Crybaby II in Silver) and a classic gold chain cuff (try Jessica Elliot’s Open Clover Cuff in Vermeil). Jess rocked funky open-toed booties, which I think she pulls off perfectly. I’d never have thought sandals and boots could be fused and still be cute, but how do you feel about this trend - yay or nay? In other Alba news, the always outspoken Sin City starlet recently opened up about her feelings on gender equality in Hollywood. Among other things, Jess said, “I want my friends to produce, direct, act, write, all of it. I think being competitive defeats the whole female movement. I want to be encouraging to my girlfriends. Totally.” I smell girl power!
