Making time for a girls' night out amidst their busy touring schedules, Taylor Swift and Katy Perry were spotted having dindin at Hakkasan in London on August 23 after they both spent two days performing at the V Festival. I like the sort of good girl/bad girl pairing they have going on, but I never would've guessed these two would be friendly enough to dine together! Am I alone here? Taylor even sent a Twitpic from their meal (the oval) with the caption: "@katyperry really puts the ‘fun’ in Fundon." KP promptly responded, "LYLAS! C u @ the VMA’s bbgirl! (TS is an angel!)" Very cute to see they both found friends abroad, especially after they both Tweeted about missing certain things about home while spending time in the UK. On the bright side, at least it didn't rain while they were partying in LDN! After their dinner, Katy emerged from the restaurant first quite literally wearing her heart on her sleeve – or I guess strap? I love the simplicity of the striped dress with the ultra-feminine hearts, and that she kept it simple with black flats, a black purse and a baby girl wrap (to do stripes right, start with Twisted Heart's Caitlin Terry Dress in Paradise or Splendid's Stripe Knit Cami Dress in Lavender with 12th Street by Cynthia Vincent's Tie Waist Wrap in Lilac). Following closely behind, Taylor picked a stunning blue and green cutout strapless Rebecca Taylor dress (check out CoutureCandy's selection of Rebecca Taylor's styles from the same collection like the Summer Cocktail Dress in Midnight or the Tequila Bingo Dress in Kiwi) brightened with aqua peep-toe Loubs and a dainty green headband. Love the tortoise shell print bag with her girly heart necklace (like Erica Anenberg's Charm Necklace in Gold). Sweetness! I'm not the biggest country fan, but there is something genuinely sweet about Taylor Swift that appeals to me – somehow wrapped up in the fact that she writes her own music, hasn't turned into a sex and drug crazed teen (yet!) and loves playing pranks including dressing up like KISS on stage and joining T-Pain for her "T-Swizzle" rap debut.
