Attending the same CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Award Event in NYC on November 15 as Blake Lively did below, Alexa Chung opted for a shorts-and-shirt look as opposed to wearing a couture dress. To get a much more casual version of Alexa's ensemble, tuck a crisp white button down (like Frank & Eileen's Victoria Shirt in Ivory) into a pair of high waisted shorts (check out Hudson Jeans' polished Scout Pleated Short in Eternal), and then slip into a cozy coat - I'm loving Burning Torch's Long Recycled Cashmere Jacket in Ivory for the winter. In other news, JustJared is reporting that Alexa is in the running to be named London’s style ambassador at the British Fashion Council’s annual gala on December 7.
