Lauren 'Lo' Bosworth (born September 29, 1986), is often referred to simply as Lo. An American television personality, she is best known for being a main cast member on the MTV reality series Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County for Season 1, and on the subsequent spin-off show, The Hills, which follows her best friend and housemate's Lauren Conrad's personal and professional life as she pursues a career in the fashion industry. Lo attended college at UCSB as of January 2006. She was a communications major at the University of California, Santa Barbara in Santa Barbara, California, and was a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. She formerly lived in the Three Arch Bay gated-community in southern Laguna Beach, before moving in with her The Hills co-stars Audrina Patridge and Lauren Conrad. She transferred to UCLA for her junior year and subsequently graduated in June 2008 with a degree in art history. Throughout the four seasons of The Hills, Lo has been the one constant in her best friend, Lauren Conrad's life. She isn't considered a main character of the series until Season 4, but has had various story lines through the seasons, including a romance with Frankie Delgado which was shown when they kissed in Vegas at Brody Jenner's birthday weekend. She has almost always been a part of any party or event that Lauren is involved with and frequently spends time with the three main characters. In the end half of season three, Lo, Lauren and Audrina moved into a house together, however, Audrina feels that Lo is causing problems in Lauren and Audrina's friendship. Lo attempts to talk to Audrina at the beginning of season four, about the issues that the 3 friends are facing and it subsequently ends in a row. Audrina tells Lo that the two would never be friends. Audrina Patridge now says that they are friends.

Lo Bosworth seen on Sep 27 2008 in Las Vegas, NV. Lo Bosworth was spotted celebrating her 22nd birthday at Tao in Las Vegas, NV on September 27, supporting her fellow "Hills" castmate Whitney Port by rocking one of her line, Eve & A's, fun frocks. For a similar look, check out Black Halo's Michelle Mini Dress in Print or Karina Grimaldi's Zuni Dress in Shelby Royal, paired with a blue silk clutch and gold bangles (like Rebecca Norman Jewelry's Three Assorted Gem Stone Bangles in Vermeil). For her big birthday, Lo celebrated with her girlfriends (including Lauren Conrad) at Tao and finished the evening off with a big pink birthday cake. While I'm sure you've heard about all of the Lauren Conrad/Audrina Patridge rumors out there lately, Lo has decided not to speak up (for now) about her thoughts on Lauren allegedly hooking up with Audrina's ex, Justin Bobby. While Lauren told Us Weekly, "I'm accused of being a bad friend, a slut and a liar. I would never hurt a friend like that!" In addition, Audrina blogged about the situation, saying, "I woke up this morning and it seems like just about every gossip magazine or blog has a story about Lauren hooking up with Justin. I'm not sure what to believe. Though Justin and I have not been exclusive for quite some time, these rumors are very confusing and hurtful. I can't comment on whether they are true or false." What do you think- did Lauren and JB hook up?
Lo Bosworth seen on Sep 21 2008 in Hollywood, CA. Lo Bosworth attended TV Guide's 6th Annual Primtetime Emmy Awards After Party at The Kress in Hollywood last night, September 21, looking like quite the Hollywood golden girl. In a voluminous gold mini (check out similar options from Gold Hawk, like the Solid Ruffle Dress in Blush Charmus, Walter, like the Ruched Dress in Copper, and LaROK, like the Cup de Jour Dress in Nude) with a black belt and matching Louboutins, Lo kept her jewelry simple with a pair of drop stone earrings (similar to Kuo Ting Jewelry's Lantern Bead Earrings in Smoky Quartz) and a single gold bangle. While In Touch Weekly reported last week that Lo and her beau, Christian, had broken up, she strutted down the red carpet of this event hand in hand with him. Do I smell a reconciliation? While there is still no word on who (if anyone) has moved into the guesthouse of the home that Lauren Conrad and Lo share in West Hollywood, I'll bet that Lo is pleased at the very least that Audrina is no longer keeping house there. While the girls have come to friendly terms, it still might be pretty awkward to share a house with someone who told you that they would never be friends with you, straight to your face! Oh, "The Hills"... always so much drama!
Lo Bosworth seen on Sep 08 2008 in Irvine, CA. Lo Bosworth was spotted supporting BFF Lauren Conrad at The Lauren Conrad "Homecoming Fashion Show" at Irvine Spectrum Center on September 8, looking adorable as always. Starting off her look with a fiery cardigan (the shade of Ella Moss' Layla Neck Tie Henley Top in Bonfire is similar) over a flowy white top (check out 3J Workshop's Sara Top in White Metallic), Lo tied the top of her outfit together with a strategically placed skinny belt (like Pellemelle's The Skinny Belt in Brown). Choosing dark skinnies (like Desert Blue's Bullhorn Jean in Smoke) and t-strap sandals (similar to Matiko Footwear's Katia Sandal in Black), Bosworth finished off her stylish look with an aqua clutch (like Posse New York's Natalie Clutch in Aqua) and gold leaf earrings. I wonder if Lauren was annoyed that she didn't wear an Lauren Conrad Collection dress?? In other Lo news, an article written in late August in the Los Angeles Times is coming to Lo's defense, saying that she is not to blame for the Audrina/Lauren rift. The article says, "A subtle intelligence is Lo's saving grace. It's all there in her withering gaze, usually directed away from her target, and possibly in whatever she's always typing into her cellphone." When Lo tells Audrina in the first episode that "the blame is being put on me for you and Lauren drifting apart, and I don't think that's fair," the author of the article goes on to say, "Fair" isn't the word she should have used; "wrong" is. Lo's only doing the work being asked of her- as is generally the case in war, she views herself as a blameless killer, serving only a higher ideal. In her role as reminder of the path less taken, of the not-yet corrupted, she is the only person on "The Hills" free to comment on its absurdity from within." I have to agree with the author! What do you think?
