Pop princess Britney Spears made an appearance on the red carpet of the 2009 Teen Choice Awards held at the Gibson Amphitheatre earlier this evening, Sunday August 9, looking radiant and happy. Wearing a figure-hugging black sparkly dress (check out more casual versions from Rachel Pally, like the Fortuna Dress in Black or Lotta Stensson, like the Shirred Mini Tube Dress in Black) with strappy black stilettos, Britney kept her accessories to a minimum and opted to forgo flashy jewelry and instead rock her newly re-blonded tresses. Lay your opinions of Britney's TCA look on me, readers... do you think she's looking smokin'? I think she looks amazing, opting for a classic LBD with a modern edge, with the beaded and leather detailing. Love to see B on top! At the awards, Britney was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award, for her work all the way from "Baby... One More Time" until today. Looking relaxed and waving to fans and photographers, it seems that Britney was soaking it all in. I think if the teens would have awarded anyone a lifetime achievement award, it should have been B - she's been through so much since first exploding on the teen scene.
