Life or Something Like it

Angelina Jolie's character, Lanie Kerrigan, has with huge dreams. She hopes to some day become a network reporter. That is, until a psychic homeless man (Tony Shalhoub) tells her that her life is meaningless and she only has a few days left to live. Upon hearing the prediction, Lanie Kerrigan drastically changes her style of living, which includes rekindling a romantic fling with a co-worker cameraman (Edward Burns).
