Geez, I go to LA for the weekend and all insanity breaks loose on the Britney Spears front! I just said in my podcast how week after week it's the same Britney news.. Britney gets drunk and parties all night, Britney has no chance of a comeback, the usual. But then she did the unthinkable.. she shaved her head! I know, unless you're living under a rock on the moon you already know this, so I'll give you a re-cap. Britney got 2 new tats, and when the hairdresser refused to shave her head, Brit grabbed the clippers and went to town! I woke up on Saturday morning to like 10 text messages saying "BRITNEY'S BALD!!!", and just when I thought she could not sabotage herself any more, she went and did it. I was eagerly awaiting the brokedown beat wig parade she would bring on, and I didn't have to wait long! Of course Britney wouldn't go and get natural wigs, she put on one of those $1.99 blonde plastic bob wigs that come in a costume pack and hit up the Roxy in Hollywood, apparently making "frequent bathroom trips" (Overactive bladder? Wig fixing? Right.) and then stormed out because "Baby One More Time" came on. This is all after Brit went and left rehab in Antigua after one day, and then re-entered the Promises rehab center in Malibu yesterday, but shocker of all shockers, she's already outta that one too! I just don't know what to think anymore. You know she's going to be the butt of every bald/wig joke for the next 2 years, and ex-BFF Paris Hilton is already laughing, saying "how fugly she looked as a baldie". Paris still uses the word fugly?
Before she shaved her head, she was at LAX in jeans and a red cami and smiling, but I can see the sorrow behind her smile. I just hope she can reconstruct her life after these events.
