Venturing out in Brentwood on what began as a very gloomy Monday, Jessica Alba meets up with a gal pal for a lunch date and shopping trip on April 12. Jess took a break from her motherly duties after a long weekend of family fun, including their regular weekend brunch and a birthday party at Genghis Cohen restaurant the day before. Dressing to combat the unusually high and low temps LA is currently experiencing, Jessica played it safe in a colorful zip front top (love the color combo of Tricia Fix's Betsey Top in Oriental) covered with a slouchy cocoon sweater (just like Ella Moss' Viola Cocoon in Charcoal) and ash grey skinnies (like Paige Premium Denim's ultra comfy Verdugo Jegging in Stratus). Jess stayed comfy in brown motorcycle boots (like Farylrobin's Ulysses Motorcycle Boot in Brown) and dark tinted aviators, carrying a mahogany tote (try the similar shape of Linea Pelle's Dylan Satchel in Espresso) and accessorizing with a few gold bangles. Adding a youthful touch to her look, Jess pulled her hair back with a girly side braid to accent her everyday style. What do you think of her casual look, would you wear it? As I've said many times I think Jessica's style can be hit or miss, but nevertheless she appeared as a guest judge on last week's episode of Project Runway, joining a multitude of celeb fashionistas who've appeared on the show, including Jessica's close friend and fashion entrepreneur Nicole Richie. Wonder if this means Jess will be adding "designer" to her resume and expand her fashion career soon?
