LEIGHTON'S "BODY CONTROL"

The always lovely Leighton Meester made an appearance on the red carpet for a special screening of 500 Days Of Summer in NYC at the Tribeca Grand Screening Room hosted by The Cinema Society with Brooks Brothers and Cotton last night, July 9, looking fresh and totally radiant. Starting with a brightly colored Emilio de la Morena oversized houndstooth graphic print dress (opt for similarly vibrant-hued frocks with Prairie New York's Barnes Dress in Azalea or Lotta Stensson's Shirred Mini Tube Dress in Poppy), Leighton slipped into a pair of Alexandre Birman python peep-toe booties and accessorized with simple silver drop earrings (like Michele Michel Jewelry's affordable Droplets Earrings in Silver) and a dazzling little clutch (check out Julie K Handbags' Gigi Mini Bag in Pewter). While I'm sure you're aware that Leighton has been in the recording studio a lot lately working on tracks for her upcoming album, one of her new jams has made it's way onto the 'net. When she realized that the song had leaked, Leighton took to her Twitter and said, "I wasn’t expecting anyone to hear ‘Body Control’ yet, but I’m so happy everyone’s loving it! Thank you so much.
