She and Rach played very similar characters on very similar shows both created by Josh Schwartz, they both have impeccable personal style, and are both very lovable brunettes... what do you think? While we all know that, like "Sex and the City" before it, "Gossip Girl" is filmed on location all over NYC, and Leighton is speaking out about how she wouldn't want it any other way. She says, "I’m really proud to be a part of that, something that actually shoots there. I think it would take away from the impact of the show if were shot anywhere else. The fact that we do go onto locations across the city is a huge part of it. It’s kind of a cycle, because the characters on the show are parts of the city and, in turn, we become part of the city because of the show… mostly, because we get to live there!
