LEIGHTON IS A GOOD GIRL GONE BAD

"Gossip Girl" star Leighton Meester lived up to her hit song title and really personified the "good girl gone bad" look as she appeared at American Eagle Outfitters' Event in NYC on November 17. From her seductive stance to her sultry, come-hither gaze (or as Tyra would say, she is totally "smizing"), Leighton definitely wasn't messing around! For her look, she paired a sexy black leather dress (for two options with a similar, if a little tamer, silhouette try Generra's Deep V Dress in Black or Sue Wong's Ribbon Applique Cocktail Dress in Black, or try T by Alexander Wang's One Shoulder Tank Dress in Black for a great basic) with a pair of killer stilettos and a gold clutch (like Moyna Handbags' Sequin and Beaded Clutch in Light Pearl). Now lets move on to the makeup - LM's dark smokey eye is accentuated by her vampy red pucker and curly, slightly tousled, brown locks. Overall, readers, is this a look you like for Leighton, or does it seem like she's trying a bit too hard to ooze sex appeal? At the big AE party, Leighton took to the stage to perform her smash single "Good Girls Go Bad," and bloggers all over the 'net are saying how awful she sounded and how she should stick to her day job. OK, but this is only one of many, many events & appearances she does - isn't it more fun that she switches it up a bit & takes some risks?
