Trying out another head-to-toe look, Jessica Alba was spotted on her way to a party on Melrose in Los Angeles on January 8. Exiting her eco-friendly hybrid SUV (didn't even know Yukon's could be hybrid!) in a pair of high waist, pegged leg lavender trousers (try Denim of Virtue’s Kindness Flap Pocket Trouser in Grape and cuff the legs yourself), Jessica played up the retro vibe with a frilly tucked in white blouse (Walter’s White Poplin Button Front Top in White is a more everyday version) and classic aviators. What do you think of the pants? I think the bow belt adds a nice touch, and I’m growing fonder of the pegged trend every day, but I don’t think the lilac shade is wearable at all – would you dare to try it? I’m loving her blunt bangs and the new shorter wavy ‘do, but I’m not quite sure where she’s going with all these ‘fits lately. Does she have a penchant for costume parties, or is she just having a little fun with fashion since becoming a mom? Complementing her ensemble with beige strappy stilettos and a sassy snakeskin bag by Gerard Darel (combine with purple hue and python texture with Carla Mancini’s Python Tote with Front Tassel in Purple), I love the overall look, I’m just still undecided on the pants. Thoughts? While Jessica did not attend the Golden Globes this year, she had a good excuse for her absence – her hubby Cash Warren’s 30th birthday! Jess doted upon her man with a weekend in Vegas and a surprise bash at Tao complete with 80 friends. Cash was so surprised he actually shed tears when he saw all of his closest pals: "I would be remiss if I didn't thank my beautiful wife and best friend in the whole world, Jessica. I can't tell you how surprised and happy I was to see all of you. Those tears were real. I can't act. It doesn't run in the family. But it's tears of love for all of you." Precious!
