LATE NIGHT RECORDING SESH

Rihanna was spotted strolling around the Soho neighborhood of NYC yesterday afternoon, August 4, for a shopping spree, flaunting those ruby red, claw-like nails of hers (is she doing the robot in the photo on the left??). Starting with a vibrant Parker mini dress with petite floral detailing (for similar, summery dresses, check out Woo's Sasha Dress in Mountain Sunset, Tracy Reese's Empire Halter Dress in Chambray, or Lotta Stensson's Mint Flower Halter Dress), RiRi accessorized with a pair of lace-up, peep-toe black booties, an oversized textured hobo black (try Julie K Handbags' Alice Oblong Hobo in Black Glaze), and a bevvy of funky jewelry: a dimensional charm bracelet (similar to Rachel Leigh Jewelry's Peace Charm Bracelet in Gold), a gold heart pendant (try Jessica Elliot's dantier Birds, Heart, Lock Tattoo Pendant in Vermeil), and huge hoops (I love the extra details on Alex and Ani's Signature Endless Hoops w/ Ribbed Beads in Gold). Do you like Rihanna's look here? It's definitely one of her less-edgier outfits that we've seen in a while. Later that evening, R was spotted leaving a recording studio at 5:30 AM, looking quite tuckered out after an evening of dedication to her craft. All of those late nights and long recording hours have definitely paid off, though, as Ri's collaborations have been nominated for MTV's Video Music Awards. T.I.'s "Live Your Life" featured Rihanna and was nominated for "Best Male Video," while Kanye West's "Paranoid" also featured the songstress and was nominated for "Best Special Effects."
