Rachel Bilson was spotted running what seems to be some last-minute Mother's Day errands as she toted a metallic pink gift bag around LA on May 8. RB dressed quite conservatively for her day of shopping, as she donned a demure taupe frock (for two sassier options, check out Rachel Pally's Picnic Tube Dress in Putty or Isabel Lu's Chain Link Spaghetti Dress in Nude) along with a pair of ankle booties (like Farylrobin's Valencia Heeled Ankle Boot in Grey), a pair of classic Ray-Ban Wayfarers, and a small tote bag (similar to Antoinette Lee Designs' Dolce Handbag in Dove Grey). I'm not too sure how I feel about this look on Rachel, is it just me or do you find this look just a little too bland? Maybe if she added a bit of edge with a vibrant belt or a leather jacket. While it comes as no surprise that Rachel is incredibly close with her mother Janice - the two are photographed together very often - it seems that she was playing her Mother's Day plans this year quite by ear! She told OK! Magazine, "I don’t know [what gift I am getting her]. Something really great. My mom is the best. She’s an amazing person." So sweet!
