While most of her Hollywood colleagues are abroad at the Cannes Film Festival right now, Kate Hudson is dedicating her time to more important things… like sports. Kate treated her five year-old son Ryder to the Lakers playoff game in Los Angeles over the weekend on May 17, seen hurrying towards the entrance looking pretty excited to catch the live action. Not getting any special treatment, a security guard made Kate throw away her Coffee Bean bev and swiped her down with a metal detector at the entrance. That’s what you get for wearing such big metal bangles, Kate! Putting her Sunday afternoon ‘fit together starting with classic vintage styled bootcuts (you can’t go wrong with Hudson’s Signature Bootcut in Bronco), a white button down cami (similar to PGD Style’s Babydoll Tank in White), and pointy caramel heels. Sticking to the basics, Kate added a few gold charm necklaces (I would pair Castaway’s Vintage Brass Leaf Skull Necklace in Gold with Maya Brenner’s miniature Birthstone Ring Charm in Gold), a wide cuff bracelet (check out Rock Paper Scissors’ fun Python Bangle in Black/White) and classic aviators. What do you think of Kate’s Lakers look? Her arms look as toned as usual, but I have to comment on Ryder’s scruffy appearance. I think he’s outgrowing the shaggy hair Kate – the boy needs a trim! Maybe it’s just my opinion – do you think the long hair is a good little boy look?
