The innovative charity was founded by “Malcolm in the Middle” mom Jane Kaczmarek and Bradley Whitford of “The West Wing,” and raises funds by auctioning off donated celebrity clothing items. Not a bad idea, considering how many celebs either get free clothes or wear an outfit to an event once and never see it again. KB indulged her shopping habit at the Beverly Hills event, hosted by La Perla and Perry Reeves. Bell’s biggest fans have something even better to look forward to in the upcoming season, with rumors of a Veronica Mars movie in the works. A close friend confirmed KB is dying to play the character that landed her on Maxim’s Hot 100 list last year, and last week Kristen sat down with the show’s creator, Rob Thomas. After bumping into her former boss on the set of Heroes, the duo sat down to discuss the transition to the silver screen, tentatively scheduled for 2009. Kirsten Bell attended the premiere for Tina Fey's new comedy Baby Mama at the Ziegfeld Theatre for the 2008 Tribeca Film Festival in NYC on April 23, looking adorable. Wearing a green and black ombre dress (Gold Hawk makes two similar, more casual dresses, the Mini Ball Dress, which comes in Nile Green, Blush, Moonless Night and White Essence, and the Hoss Dress in Black) with patent brown heels, KB decided to add a pop of green eyeshadow to really accentuate the color of her eyes. Between attending this premiere to starring in the smash hit Forgetting Sarah Marshall to narrating the hit show "Gossip Girl," (of which Kristen says she loves because she can do her job in her PJ's!), it seems like this little starlet is popping up everywhere lately! Of this sudden stampede of success, Bell says, "It doesn’t feel like a storm. It feels more like a beautiful day in my career right now. I feel like I’m still climbing. I think I have been really, really lucky to have had the opportunities I have, and I try to keep my head screwed on straight and be grateful for that every day. I don’t want to get to the point where I take that for granted." Sounds like she has a pretty solid head on her shoulders... let's just hope she doesn't go the Lohan route and mess it all up!

One of Hollywood's new "it" girls, Kristen Bell was spotted Friday, December 21 in Los Angeles while getting her Saturn SUV serviced with new boy toy Dax Shepard. Unlike the rest of Hollywood starlets, Bell obviously opted not to try for that "sophisticated chic" look, which has fast become the must have look of the season. Instead, KB decided to go with a more casual and relaxed look on her day of errands. Bell sported a pair of loose fit destroyed denim (check out True Religion's Bobby Heritage Big T Jean in Medium Motor) over a pair of beat up brown winter boots. On top, Kristen sported a loose fitting and lightweight black knit jacket (similar to both Ecoganik's Fleece Wide Collar Coat in Black). Bell completed her look with an oversized weathered black handbag (check out Aaneta's Fortuna Handbag in Black). After dropping her car off, Bell proceeded to hop into Dax's pickup truck and headed for a bite to eat at Vivian's Café in Los Angeles. After meeting Dax at the Las Vegas opening of hip sushi eatery Koi, Kristen and Dax have been seen spending a lot of quality time together. Although Bell refused to comment on whether there is or isn't anything going on between the two, it looks to be almost a sure thing. Bell has become one of Hollywood's latest "it" girls after earning roles on two of the hottest shows around, "Heroes" and "Gossip Girl". However, with the writers strike still going strong, neither show is currently filming. A "big network" has taken advantage of the success of "Gossip Girl" and the writer's being on strike, however. Rumor has it that a casting company is currently seeking a group of NYC students to create a reality show based on the same idea as Gossip Girl. Are we about to have a new Heidi and LC on our hands? I think so, except this time I hope they will have a little more taste!
