KH GOES BRIGHT IN BOSTON

Brightening up Boston in a fiery red dress, Katie Holmes was spotted out with Suri on November 6 having a little bonding trip to American Apparel. The two later met up with Tom to pick up some delicious desserts at a bakery in East Boston. On their shopping spree the Cruise ladies wore matching red dresses with black leggings (stand out in poinsettia red this winter in Qi Cashmere's Hoodie Cable Dress in Red Kiss or Blaque Label's Ruffle Sleeve Dress in Red). Katie added her new Madewell biker boots (Gwyneth Shoes' Alba Ankle Boot in Black would be adorable with leggings or lacy tights) and a black blazer (I like the longer style of Nanette Lepore's Secret Lover Jacket in Black) to stay warm in, carrying a brown messenger bag (Antoinette Lee's roomy Stella Bag in Tan is great) and a stuffed friend for Suri. What do you think of her casual 'fit? For the past week Katie has been spotted filming on Long Island and returning to Boston via helicopter to see Tom. KH just started filming The Romantics, coming onboard as a last min replacement for Liv Tyler. Katie plays Anna Paquin's BFF and maid on honor in the flick, which she is also reported to be serving as a producer. From her boyfriend jeans to Suri's hair it just seems we can't stop finding fault in Katie's choices whenever she appears in public, and Katie once again came under fire after she was photographed giving Suri a bottle on the set of her new flick. Ok, giving a baby a bottle, no big deal… except that Suri is a walking, talking 3 year old. A couple of pediatricians are weighing in on this from both sides, but it doesn't seem like thaaat big of a deal to me.
