KATY'S FIRST "REAL" WINTER

Taking a few slippery steps out of her beau's London abode, Katy Perry looks like she's not quite sure how to handle the winter weather on December 22. One thing is for sure – someone get this girl some better shoes besides flimsy ballet flats, stat! She's going to need a few more cups of java to keep her warm in this made-for-California-winter 'fit. At least Katy has a proper down coat with a fur collar (play it up a little with Rebecca Taylor's Fur Collar Coat in Charcoal) worn over a blue star spangled tee (add some sparkle with Zoa's Sequin Panel Tunic in Black) and go-to black skinnies (like Dylan George's Olivia Pant in Black). Katy is wearing shiny little flats like Gwyneth Shoes' Maxie Sequin Flat in Black/Silver but I would go for something a little more insulating, yet still cute like Farylrobin's Fabienne Foldover Ankle Bootie in Black. The quirky songstress completed the look with a pom-pom knit cap covering her ears and a gold metallic handbag spicing up the look (I would tone it down a little with Camenae's handy Deity Bag in Sand). Katy flew to London to spend a few days with her beau Russell Brand, taking in the holiday season's most anticipated film: Avatar! After her good friend Shannon Woodward tweeted it's incredible and she shouldn't miss it, KP replied, “GOOD me & BF are going to put on our 3D glasses and see it now!!! And ur a TOUGH critic!” I've had a few tough critics in my life tell me it's totally worth it too, especially in 3D! Did any of you have a chance to check it out over the holiday weekend?
