Looking vibrant in a flowing emerald silk frock, model Kate Moss attended the grand opening of NYC’s Topshop boutique on April 2. Wearing the limited edition Fairytale Maxi Dress from her Spring/Summer 2009 collection, the 35 year old Brit looked gorgeous in green as she posed with owner Sir Philip Green at the ribbon cutting ceremony. Despite the hard economic times, Topshop moved forward with the opening of its New York flagship store hoping to cater to the city’s young fashionistas, as Green enthusiastically told the press: “People haven’t stopped shopping. The young fashion market has still remained pretty resilient during these difficult times!” Kate’s line has done exceptionally well in the UK – with most items selling out in hours – and the new Spring/Summer 2009 collection is available for purchase online and in store beginning today.
