CRUSHING ON B.A.G.

Jessica Stroup seen on Oct 22 2008 in Los Angeles, CA. "90210" actress Jessica Stroup was spotted at the launch of Kitson's 90210 Collection in Los Angeles last night, October 22, followed by a celebratory 22nd birthday dinner at raucous Mexican restaurant, El Compadre. I bet the margs were flowing! I'm diggin' Jessica's look here, it's very Rihanna-esque. For a similar 'fit, start with a black v-neck tee (like P.G.D. Style's Morgan V-Neck Tee in Black) under a cropped black jacket (Elizabeth Gillett Ltd's Lydia Velvet Jacket in Black is a cool option for the cropped trend) and pair with a vibrant mini skirt (Plenty by Tracy Reese's colorful Pocket Mini Skirt in Tantre has a supercool damask-inspired pattern). Stroup accessorized with open-toe leather booties, a chunky cutout cuff (like Jessica Elliot's Cut Out Bangle in Gold), and metallic midnight blue nailpolish. And FYI- it seems that she has definitely mastered her signature red carpet pose in the picture on the righ- knees bent, one leg out a bit farther than the other, hands in pockets, shoulder slant, and seductive gaze. Work it out JS! While Jessica is undoubtedly enjoying the success of her CW show, she is also speaking out being the sister of character David Silver (originally played by Brian Austin Green). Jess says, "There's a mention of Mel in one of the scripts. I met Brian Austin Green for the first time in a Coffee Bean. I saw him, and I thought, I have to talk to him. He thought I was a fan. Of course, I did gush a little bit. I'd love to work with him." Looks like someone might have a little B.A.G. crush!

JENNIE AND SHANNEN

Jessica Stroup seen on Sep 04 2008 in Hollywood, CA. Newcomer Jessica Stroup, star of the new "90210," hit up Nylon Magazine's TV Issue Launch Party at the Tropicana Bar in the Roosevelt Hotel back on September 4, working the red carpet like a pro and seeming to be overwhelmed by all of the attention she was getting! Sporting navy blue nails and black and white patent heels, Stroup showed some skin in a strapless black and white mini (for similar frocks, check out Karina Grimaldi's Keyhole Silk Mini Dress in Theodora Black, Lotta Stensson's Shirred Mini Tube Dress in Black, and Betsey Johnson's Mini Dress in Black) accessorized with a single gold bangle (check out Danielle Stevens Jewelry's Alligator Bangle in Gold). Jessica has caught a lot of flack lately for seeming to be too skinny, and I would love to know what you think, dear readers- I know she is thin, but is she too thin? Weigh in. No pun intended. While Stroup is sure to break out as one of "90210"'s newest stars, she is speaking out about working with "90210" O.G.'s Shannen Doherty and Jennie Garth. She says, "Both have been incredible to me— and to the rest of the cast. Coming from where I'm from, I love my privacy and security and my friends, but being in the entertainment industry, I have to understand that I've never hit a mark where the press wants to know who I am. I welcome it, and I'm excited about it, and hopefully it means that I'm doing good work. I talked to Jennie about it. On one of our longest days, I was kind of in a daze in the makeup and hair trailer and she came over and said "You know, kid, you're doing great and I'm proud of you, and I'm excited to work on the show with you." So she's kind of like a big sister to in me in real life." Aww! Of Shannen, she says, " Shannen is hilarious. At our launch party, she came in, and people were wondering, "Where's the drama?" There is no drama; they're over it. I love hanging out with Shannen; she just cracks me up." Sounds like one big happy family!
