Showing off her voluptuous curves, Jessica Simpson flaunts what she's got at the "Shine On: 125 Years of Women Making Their Mark" event hosted by Good Housekeeping in NYC on April 12. Jess walked the red carpet with her BFF Ken Paves, who kept her tresses looking phenomenal with a fresh blowout. Selecting a super coordinated 'fit, Jessica paired her shiny, geometric patterned strapless mini (tone it down without losing the wow factor with Interlud's Pebbles Party Dress in Grey Dot or Twelfth Street by Cynthia Vincent's Sweetheart Ruffle Dress in Multi) with blue nail polish, cascading blue earrings (brighten up with Amrita Singh's Nello Earring in Turquoise) and teetering silver stilettos (love the intricate design of Gwyneth Shoes' Omyrah in Gold). Jess carried a shimmering box clutch (similar to Whiting & Davis' Crystal Accents Minaudiere in Silver) as she posed for the press before shooting some goofy shots with her pal. Way to take the "Shine On" theme literally! Many of you have commented that Jess isn't exactly adept at choosing clothing that flatters her curvaceous figure, and I think this mini is the epitome of this inadequacy. It's not even that she's looking a little heavier than normal, it's just the fit of this dress in the bust area is horrific to begin with and the way she's awkwardly posing with her hand on her hip isn't helping either. It looks like her right breast is definitely trying to jump ship! What are your thoughts on this look?
