"IT'S NOT REALITY"

Hitting up as many fashion shows as she could, "The City" star Olivia Palermo was photographed in the front row of Monique Lhuillier's Spring 2011 runway show at NYFW on September 13. Choosing a dainty patterned dress (take a peek at three similar options on CoutureCandy - Sue Wong's Petal Ribbon Cocktail Dress in Platinum, Twelfth Street by Cynthia Vincent's Mesh Top Dress in Black/Grey, and Jenny Han's Drop Waist Long Sleeve Dress in White) underneath a bold graphic cardigan (get the look with Ella Moss' Tompson Cardigan in Black), Olivia then slipped into a pair of suede booties and toted a black leather handbag. Of course, a few statement rings completed her look. Are you a fan of this outfit on OP, and what are your thoughts of her newly shortened hairstyle here? Olivia is speaking out about her time on "The City," and how the show has pretty much nothing to do with reality. Says Palermo, "It is absolutely not reality. This is a business decision. I can learn from it. It adds entertainment value. I know my focus. I have a long-term plan, so I don't get stuck in the moment. I want to act, model, try it all. Designing a collection will come in time." She sounds like she has quite the game plan!
