Maybe, but I'm guessing it's mostly from the cocktails in the middle of the day. After sparking a ton of buzz when Jessica Simpson reportedly began dating John Mayer, John layed the rumors to rest on his official blog when he denounced the hype. However, the not-really-a-couple couple met up on November 12 at the Paradise Cove Beach Café in Malibu for a secret date that is now anything but a secret. Wearing the Light Grey wash of True Religion's Joey Black Stretch Big T jeans and a fitted blazer, Jess seemed to be in a good mood. A witness at the café said that Jessica "didn't eat much. She drank double vodka cranberries. When they got up, Jessica was rubbing his back. You could definitely tell they were on a date." Ah, nothing like knockin' back a few double vodka cocktails mid-day to loosen up. Things are apparently heating up for the two, as Jessica and John were seen at LAX with the rest of the Simpson family today, a busy day-before-Thanksgiving travel day. This means one of two things, either John is saying goodbye to his new flame, or he is traveling with her to Texas for the holiday! One thing is for sure, when all that tryptophan sets in from eating too much turkey, it's likely Jess and John will sneak away for a nap… together!
