IS HE THE ONE?

Getting in the business frame of mind, Jessica Simpson heads to a meeting at the Roseland Ballroom in NYC on October 13. Jess flew into the Big Apple two days prior with beau Eric Johnson at her side, who is now officially divorced (which should hopefully put an end to the jokes about their romance). Jessica stepped out in a divine new pair of lace up open toe boots (check out Farylrobin's Lance Knee High Boot in Black) with black leggings (try C&C California's super comfy Full Length Legging in Black) and a cleavage baring grey top (like Aude's Gale Short Sleeve V Neck in Heather Grey). Jess polished off the look with a tailored blazer (like Tt Collection's Dylan in Black) with a patent logo Louis Vuitton handbag on her arm (check out Julie K's Nikki in Black) and a few silver jewelry accents (I'm loving Amrita Singh's Milintica Bracelet in Silver). Big sunnies and a messy bun complete Jessica's daytime look – what do you think of her basic black style? I'm not sure how I feel about the boots being open toe, but I do love the lace up detail. Thoughts? Jess is back in NYC after finishing recording on her new Christmas album, enjoying some time with her new love in the big city prior to the holiday season. Now that Jess is officially able to declare her love for her non-married man, she's making her feelings known. After People asked if Eric is "the one" for Jess, she replied: "I'm not gonna jinx my own self. He's the one for me right now! I'm very happy. I'm in a great place, and if right now could last forever, I'd take it." Awww – looks like things are finally looking up for her!
