Mary-Kate Olsen was snapped out and about in the West Village on July 14, appearing to be quite windblown as she made her way around NYC. For her outfit breakdown, MK started with her favorite pair of Earnest Sewn skinny jeans (get a similar pair with Rich & Skinny's Sleek Five Pocket Jean in Celestial Blue) and then wore an oversized striped button down (like JET by John Eshaya's Boyfriend Stripe Shirt in Navy), in addition to a pair of black shades and leather motorcycle boots (similar to Giuseppe Zanotti's Motorcycle Boot in Black). Up next, Mary-Kate toted a large leather caryall (similar to Julie K Handbags' Robin in Black) and carried her trusty BlackBerry, and then - in typical MK fashion - piled on the jewelry. Starting with a dainty silver necklace, Mary-Kate wore a silver serpent ring (just like Femme Metale Jewelry's Serpent Ring in Silver) and then piled on the silver bangles with her gold Rolex. Recently, Mary-Kate and Ashley both sat down to interview each other for Barney's New York's blog. For the interview, Ashley asked: "Do you have a style philosophy? For whom do you dress?" Mary-Kate's response? "I dress for me and usually whatever suits my mood." Ashley: "If you could raid any person’s wardrobe (alive or dead), who would it be?" Mary-Kate: "Picasso." Ashley: "What current trend would you like to see disappear?" Mary-Kate: "My problem is not with the trends themselves, but the fact that trends are constantly repeating themselves." Ashley: "Where do you go and what do you do to unwind?" Mary-Kate: "I like to travel when I can, which isn’t often. Otherwise, I like to be at home in New York with friends." Interesting stuff!
