Stepping out in support of Latino filmmakers, Eva Longoria poses on the red carpet at the opening night of the 13th Annual LA Latino International Film Festival at Grauman's Chinese Theater on October 11. First things first: the pinkish nude, plumpy pucker look is so not working for her! Ditto on the harsh eyeshadow. Wardrobe is okay, pairing a satiny pencil skirt (try Rebecca Taylor's classic Pencil Skirt in Black) with a pewter pailette top (similar to Sky's Alima Chain Top in Metallic Black) and patent YSL pumps. I like her textured black clutch (like Elaine Turner's Bella Croc Patent in Black) but I'm not loving the watch. The earrings are okay (Marcia Moran's Leaf Earrings in Rhodium Plated are a quirky alternative) but I think she definitely could have gone for something more exciting to make this look memorable. On the plus side she is looking very fit and toned! Since rising to fame on Desperate Housewives, Eva has followed in many of her fellow actresses' footsteps and added entrepreneur to her resume. She recently told the press how much she admires and inspires to be like her pal Victoria Beckham: “Victoria and I are in similar circumstances when it comes to our husbands. I admire the wife and mother that she is and, at the same time, this glamorous beautiful businesswoman. That’s what I aspire to be.” There's a lot of good and bad said about Posh, but you can't deny she very much embodies Eva's description!
