HUNGER IS UNACCEPTABLE

Taking her voice to the streets, Christina Aguilera was spotted shooting a PSA for World Hunger Relief at Hollywood and Highland in Los Angeles on June 15. She's been involved in public service campaigns before, so it's no surprise to see her lending her voice for a great cause. Going for the all white look in a v-neck burnout tee (Signorelli's New Omni Peace Burnout V Neck in White has a similar cut and benefits a great cause), bleached destroyed skinny jeans (white out in Proportion of Blu's Lincoln Skinny Jean in Powder) and a shiny blue ring (go for something different with Erica Anenberg's Crown Cigar Ring in 14k Plated Solid Brass). Love her bold blue nail polish, but let's hope those black flip-flops aren't going to make it into the video! Making a statement as the new spokeswoman, Christina said: "It's unacceptable a child dies every six seconds somewhere around the world from hunger. By lending my voice for World Hunger Relief, I hope to raise awareness about the issue and move people from hunger to hope." Mamaguilera's new cause is backed by none other than fast-food mogul Yum! Brands, owners of Pizza Hut, Taco Bell and KFC. Seems a little ironic for them to be sponsoring a hunger relief program of this magnitude – as the LA Times blog put it, "It's kind of like Camel cigarettes sponsoring a Healthy Lung festival." Nevertheless, if you're interested in getting involved in the cause – and it is a very, very worthy one – you can go to fromhungertohope.com and donate to the World Food Programme. It's pretty amazing that just $1 a day can provide 4 well balanced meals to a child in need!
