Doing her best not to draw attention to herself – and in the process getting noticed by everyone from fans to security guards – Canuck Rachel McAdams returned to her other home in the states via LAX’s International Terminal on Sept 23, bundled up and incognito with her face and hair covered. Despite her best efforts to disguise her identity, Rachel still stopped to sign a few autographs for fans, revealing her genuine down-to-earth nature. For her flight, Rach wore a loose gray minidress (like Qi’s Tea Time Dress in Granite) with a comfy white sweatshirt, tied together with a simple white scarf (combine the two with Ecoganik’s fluffy Fleece Scarf Coat in Winter White) and adorable slouchy black boots with feminine bows on the sides. To completely emulate the undercover look, add a big black cap (try Rails’ Fidel Hat in Black) and a pair of super dark shades (doesn’t get any better than JeeVice’s Egoist in Black). On Friday, Rachel’s latest film The Lucky Ones hit theaters, with super critic Roger Ebert giving a nod to the star for her stellar performance. Ebert said, “…she is feisty, vulnerable, plucky, warm, funny. This is her coming of age as an actress. She provides yet another lesson that you can't judge acting ability until you see an actor given a chance to really stretch.” I wasn’t particularly interested in seeing her latest flick, but after such a compliment from the godfather of movie critics, I’m tempted to make my way down to the box office this weekend… will any of you be doing the same?
