Fulfilling her promo duties for Astro Boy, Kristen Bell had some fun in the sun in San Diego, CA at the Comic-Con 2009 gig on July 23. She's worn Hervé Léger’s bandage dresses in the past, so it's no surprise Kristen's stylist Nicole Chavez chose this olive green HL dress with a sexy neckline and zippered front (if you love the shade try Karen Zambo's Long Vest Dress in Little Plaid or check out Black Halo's similar neckline on the Kelly Dress in Black ). Love that she balanced the military hue with nude Jimmy Choos and a twisted chain CC Skye necklace (it's out of stock on CoutureCandy, but check out CC Syke's other envious options here), but I think something different with her hair really would have made this look stand out. And it's hard to stand out in Hervé Léger these days, since everyone from Hillary Duff to Melissa Rivers and LiLo are rocking the new collection. What do you think of Kristen's version? Before there was Gossip Girl and Forgetting Sarah Marshall, KB rose to boob tube fame as Veronica Mars on the WB. Kristen and producer Rob Thomas have been trying to take the show to the big screen, but KB recently took to her Twitter page to get fans amped about the project. After a meeting with WB she tweeted: "VM movie fans- rob and i took it to WB- and they said "there is no enthusiasm" to make it :( so fans have to convince WB! rob and i r in!" and later responded to fans, "ive told em i want to so bad- i think they dont think it will make any money so they want to be sure people will see it. big business. ugh." Sorry to break it to you sweetie but the WB is probably spot on with that prediction! Do any of you think they made a mistake in passing on the flick?
