Happy New Year CoutureCandy readers! Little Miss Leighton Meester was spotted ushering in the grand opening of new Miami hotspot Klutch on December 29, performing a few of her songs for the stylish and attractive crowd. Before she took to the stage, she took some time to pose for photographers on the red carpet, donning a sexy cutout dress (for a great selection of sassy party dresses on CoutureCandy, try one of the following frocks: Gold Hawk's Sheer Overlay Dress in Black, Jenny Han's Strapless Party Dress in Festive, Sue Wong's Jet Beaded Bubble Dress in Black/Nude, or The Battalion's Bondage Dress in Black). Leighton chose to avoid any jewelry for this look, and instead chose a pair of super-high stilettos with a half-up/half-down hairstyle. What do you think of Leighton's look here - do you like, or does it seem like she's trying just a wee bit too hard to push the envelope? It seems that her performance was a smash hit with partygoers, as the Miami Herald reported, "When she took to the mike at Tuesday night's grand opening party for Klutch in the old Opium space, you'd have thought she was Lady Gaga. Either that, or the celeb-dotted audience was just hopped up on Red Bull. Among the dancing, cheering fans: Twilight's Kellan Lutz, Project Runway's Christian Siriano and his boyfriend, and former Melrose Place star Colin Egglesfield. After Meester gave a big hug to Lutz, she danced away with her bandmates and backup dancers." Sounds like a fun time was had by all!
