Leighton Meester was photographed striking a few poses as she appeared on the red carpet of Z100’s Jingle Ball 2009 (where she also performed) in NYC, held at the New York City’s Madison Square Garden and the pre-show at Hammerstein Ballroom on December 11. It's always so interesting to see Leighton express her edgy side when she doesn't need to be made up as Blair on "Gossip Girl" - it's like she thinks to herself, "What is the outfit that Blair would be least likely to wear? I'll wear that!" For the Jingle Ball, Leighton chose a black tiered leather dress with slouchy mesh sleeves from Louise Goldin's Fall 2009 collection, paired with Proenza Schouler's black and gold metallic heels. Do you think Leighton is rocking this look, or are you tired of her always trying to push the "edgy envelope" lately? While I'm sure you all know that LM is an aspiring songstress, she tells OK! Magazine about the first time she heard her song, "Good Girls Go Bad," on the radio. Says Meester, "The first time I heard [my single with] Cobra Starship on the radio, I had this really overdone reaction. I started screaming, and I was actually singing at the top of my lungs to Beyonce right before, and I heard my song right after. There were two cops right next to me, and I look over, and they’re, like, staring at me like I was a crazy person. Then, when I heard my song on the radio, I was in L.A., and nobody could even hear it because I was screaming." She is just so adorable!
