A new re-platinum haired Britney Spears picked up some groceries at Ralph's in LA on August 26, smiling and obviously having more fun now that she's a blonde. Wearing a LBD (like Betsey Johnson's Trapeze Dress in Black or Peace of Us' 3/4 Sleeve Cowl Neck Dress in Black) with black pumps and a wine colored bag (like Aaneta's The Mermaid Bag in Medium in Cordoban), Britney has been pretty good lately about keeping her fashion atrocities to a minimum. Oh wait, I spoke to soon. Brit-Brit was recently spotted out and about in what she thought was a dress, but was obviously a shirt in actually. Full moon in Los Angeles! Just to clarify- this wasn't the day that her Mercedes ran out of gas on Beverly Dr. and had to be pushed by the police… that's a whole other can of worms. Probably the most prominent Britney gossip of the week is that Ms. Spears is set to release her new official single "Gimme More" (the track which she shot the video for last month) on the radio next week. Produced by Timbaland associate Nate "Danjahandz" Hills, the single is allegedly "funky" and "hot" according to industry insiders. Can't wait to hear!

Blonde or not, that dress is atrociously short! Although I like Britney overall, she is not exactly as shapely as she once was. what a trashy mess...my granddaughters used to love her music. we don't look at her stuff or listen to her anymore. awful mess and very bad role model for teens..my job to see that they look at the smart wholesome girls with ambition and talent...feel for her young sons...she's a mother to two very young children...can't she forgo the alcohol and clubs for a few years till her kids grow up a little and she could do a little growing also.guest on Sep 07 2007 @ 05:30 PM
