Fresh from filming her reality show in Mumbai, India, Jessica Simpson lands at LAX in Los Angeles on October 27 with her dad and BFF Ken Paves keeping her company. It seems like Ken has been with her on almost all of her adventures, including Morocco and Thailand. Wonder if he's there to support or if he has a role in the show as well – he'd be more of an expert on beauty than Jess with his celeb coif clientele! For her flight JS paired a plaid Hurley flannel shirt (try Splendid's Seattle Plaid Shirt in Mud) with a gray v-neck, with smoky blue J Brand 901 leggings (Serfontaine's Minx Straight Leg in Supima Atomik are a similar shade and have an amazing fit) tucked into platform ankle boots. I like the plaid colors but I seriously hate those boots – is it just me bothered by the shiny material and pointy toes? Jess carried a silver sequined bag (get your shine on with Novella Royale's Clover Studded Bag in Grey) that looks like she might have picked up on her trip – India is famous for its embellished embroidery, after all. As a final touch Jess wore silver hoops and a few bangles (Alex and Ani's Peace Expandable Wire Bangle Set in Gold would be cute with the casual 'fit) to complement her traditional henna tattoo on the back of her hand, one of the many beauty rituals she's taken part in for her new reality show. Jess recently told the press how much fun she's having exploring beauty around the world: “Every country is different, but the way we all relate to each other … and what I hope people get from the show is looking inside of yourself, and finding that which is beautiful to you, and defining it for yourself… There is no definition of beauty. You are the only one who can define that.” I don't know about you but I'd like to see her do something about her roots once and for all – if you don't have time to keep them fresh when your hair stylist travels with you constantly, maybe you should consider going natural. Just sayin!
