She's not usually known for trend setting style, but Hayden Panettiere has been frolicking all over New York City this week, promoting her new flick I Love You Beth Cooper and showing off her taste for designer duds at the same time. Starting with "The Late Show with David Letterman" on July 6, HP arrived at NYC's Ed Sullivan Theater in a sexy black lace mini by Caroline Seikaly paired with smokin' hot Stuart Weitzman heels. The finishing touch: chunky House of Lavande rings on each hand (go for the bold look with Michele Michel's Adjustable Hammered Dome Ring in Silver). It's a racy dress but I think the curled tendrils really soften the look – what do you think?
Winding down after her "Late Night," HP headed over to MTV Studios in Times Square for "It's On with Alexa Chung" the following morning, opting to cater to her younger fans with a pale pink mini dress by Elizabeth and James (if you can't resist the pink hue, try Ingwa Melero's Elena Mini Dress in Pink Combo or Gold Hawk's Two Tone Morph Dress in Geranium Pink). I'm pretty much obsessed with her uber fierce Giuseppe Zanotti open-toe booties, but I'm not sure I'm crazy about the bell sleeves – do you think Hayden can pull off the mod look? The plum Nancy Gonzalez clutch and gold medallion earrings also add a nice twist to this trendy 'fit. Would any of you style the dress differently?
After her trip to MTV, Hayden headed back to her hotel to primp for a few hours before emerging at the NYC premiere of I Love You Beth Cooper, held at AMC Lincoln Square Tuesday evening. Getting glam in an Andy & Debb white asymmetrical dress with a blouson waist, Hayden went for the classic Hollywood look with voluminous curls and rouge lips. Love the elegant Giuseppe Zanotti metallic pumps with the dainty ankle strap, and the plump satin Nancy Gonzalez clutch works well with the look (if you're in need of a new evening bag, Posse New York's Natalie in Pearl Tan or Pearl White is a great versatile pick), but it bothers me a little that it's so similar to Cameron Diaz's look at the premiere of My Sister's Keeper 2 weeks ago. Either they have the same stylist or HP is a copycat!
Still going strong 3 days in a row, Hayden rounded out her press tour with an appearance on "Live with Regis and Kelly" on Wednesday morning. Arriving a beaded Zac Posen top with a matching mini, HP carried the same satin clutch from the night before and stuck to classic nude Christian Louboutins to balance her 'fit. Love the fluttery neckline, but I wish the dress was a slightly different color – it almost seems like it washes her out a little, no?
While she stayed true to her super short style in all of her appearances this week, it's evident Hayden's style is finally maturing. Which look is your fav?

I think her figure is the problem. She's really short. Like, elfish. Imagine a cute little 5 foot tall girl wearing any of these dresses and it's like ooooh, cute. the dresses are simple & nice, except for the black lacy one. looks a little tacky. i have to agree with 7:56. good observation.
