HAYDEN ROCKS N' HEELS

Getting glammed up for charity, Hayden Panettiere arrived at the Rock-N-Reel benefit at Culver Studios in Culver City on June 14. She's always hit or miss when it comes to her wardrobe choices, but Hayden's style seems to be improving a little lately. Maybe because she's getting older? For the event HP paired a classy white Helmut Lang blazer (try Mike & Chris' casual Sammy Fleece Blazer in Bone) over a body hugging TopShop denim tube dress (check out Lotta Stensson's more forgiving Shirred Tube Dress in Peacock, which also comes in Plum, Black, Poppy, or Orange) and sexy studded Loubs. I don't know about the super tight mini but those heels are gorgeous! She kept the accessories at a minimum, choosing a slender bangle (like Rachel Leigh's Sweet Tooth Bangle in Gold), petite charm necklace (try Femme Metale's Pierced Heart Necklace in Silver) and classy diamond studs. What do you think of Hayden's look? I think it would've been more exciting if she wore her hair down for a change, but the heels are enough to distract anyone! Hayden has been super busy lately, spotted working on the set of Heroes in LA, running errands and picking up some new glasses earlier this week. There have been a lot of good and not so good stories about her in the tabloids lately, and HP recently mouthed off about the effect her actions (dating older men, pregnancy scares, partying in Cannes, and so on) have on young female fans: “I think the only problem with attempting to be a role model is the fact that you just want to go, ‘okay, I’ll be a role model for you'. I’d love to, but don’t expect me to be perfect because I’m not and I do screw up and I do make mistakes and I can’t always think of everyone else and what they’re going to say. Because at the end of the day the only person you can make happy is yourself. No matter whether it’s wrong or right or looks good or looks bad, somebody will hate it. Somebody will.” What do you think of Hayden's harsh yet honest words?
