In addition, HP has also been heavily promoting her role as an anti-whaling activist, speaking at a rally in Washington DC to save the whales and recording a YouTube video asking fans to sign a petition and add a link to the Whaleman Foundation to their MySpace or Facebook profiles. Spreading the message from the lawmakers to the high tech youth of America seems like a feasible way to accomplish her goals – much better than getting herself arrested while protesting whaling in Japan last year!

Resident paps lingering outside the salon offered to add quarters to the meter for her when they saw the parking dude arrive, but to no avail. When HP returned to her Porsche Cayenne with yet another present waiting for her on the windshield, one of the paps who witnessed was so kind as to offer to pay the ticket for her. Where was this guy the last time I got a parking ticket in LA?? It’s not like Heroes isn’t bringing in enough cash for Hayden to pay off a $45 ticket! The nice guy made a little YouTube vid about the ordeal, showing himself writing the check and mailing it for her. Apparently he exercised the same generosity with Seinfeld awhile back. The party was promoting the Donald’s newest Trump International Hotel & Tower venture in Dubai, not due to open its doors until 2011, when it will be the tallest structure in the city. HP co-hosted the event (which ultimately had the theme of: save the whales!) at Eva Longoria’s Beso eatery, wearing a stunning strapless coral number (like Prairie New York’s Chic Strapless Dress in Chocolate or the Bow Dress in Tomato) with an iridescent envelope clutch (just like Posse New York’s Sama Clutch in White Pearl), shimmering drop earrings (check out Kuo Ting’s Frosted Teardrop Earrings in Sterling Silver), and a flashy silver band (try Christie Martin’s cool personalized Sterling Silver Band Ring). HP swept her newly shorn locks into a sophisticated updo, making her look years beyond her tender age of 18. No matter how stunning she looked, the night took a turn for the worse as soon as HP left the party with co-star/boytoy Milo Ventimiglia. First, Hayden’s Porsche Cayenne (driven by her bf) ran over a photog’s foot while leaving the restaurant. Hey, I’m sure the pap jumped in front of the car while trying to get one last shot of the couple, but it’s too bad HP couldn’t save the day with her healing powers. Then, to add to the stress that goes along with any auto blunder, things took a serious turn for the worse on the homefront. The one choice that saved this outfit from total dullsville are Hayden's gladiator sandals, and even those have become pretty standard in Hollywood these days! While experimenting with various things is a standard part of the growing up process, Hayden has admitted in an interview that she experimented with the same-sex when it came to locking lips. She says, "It’s great to have boyfriends. Or girlfriends. There are occasions when you kiss your best friend growing up, having fun and goofing about. Like perfecting your technique. People are more interested in who celebrities are dating than the events going in the world. I’m not shallow. And I’m not sharing.” That's right, HP, you lock it up!

Hayden Panettiere spent her Valentine's Day with her family on Thursday, February 14 in Los Angeles, totally looking like a flasher in her long trench coat. Hayden decided to stay low key on V-Day, having her brother be her her for the evening. Hayden and her family made their way to the new Hollywood hip steakhouse STK. The steakhouse just opened in West Hollywood after having much success in New York City, so expect to see Hollywood's hippest dining at this brand new hot spot. Sources inside say that she sat right across from brother Jansen, while accompanied her dad Alan and her mom-ager Lesley. No word where Milo Ventimiglia was this evening. I'm sure him and Hayden had a romantic Valentine's lunch somewhere in Los Angeles. Now that the writer's strike is over, I'm sure we will be seeing a lot less of Hayden as she gears up to start filming the new season of "Heroes." No word on when they will begin filming again, but we will be sure to keep you updated as soon as we hear.
