After working all Sunday shooting scenes for “Heroes,” the show’s infamous cheerleader Hayden Panettiere rewarded herself for her hard work with a little retail therapy in West Hollywood on Nov 10. Giving off a casual Bohemian vibe, HP browsed an interior décor store to splurge on some digs for her newly acquired Hollywood Hills mansion in an embroidered peasant blouse (try Cake Couture’s sophisticated Tolume Cap Sleeve Blouse in White) paired with faded skinny jeans (similar to 7 For All Mankind’s Roxanne Skinny Jean in Chile), foxy aviators, a cinnamon colored tote (check out Posse New York’s fabulous Vanessa Tote in Plum), and her fav Rainbow flip-flops – standard for a long shopping trip! This week one of the new “Heroes: Villians” episodes with HP and guest star Kristen Bell aired – did any of you catch Hayden in action? As the action heats up on “Heroes” and the critics continue to slam the dark direction the show is taking, HP seems unfazed in her retail quest to revamp her abode and wardrobe. In addition, HP has also been heavily promoting her role as an anti-whaling activist, speaking at a rally in Washington DC to save the whales and recording a YouTube video asking fans to sign a petition and add a link to the Whaleman Foundation to their MySpace or Facebook profiles. Spreading the message from the lawmakers to the high tech youth of America seems like a feasible way to accomplish her goals – much better than getting herself arrested while protesting whaling in Japan last year!

i love bohemian but this looks plain.. i loved it when the mk olsen did boho it was so authentic and funky and original.. this is a boring look and now so many people are just wearing out the trend in a bad wayguest on Nov 17 2008 @ 12:26 PM

Why criticise her for doing something good? It's refreshing to see a star committed to doing something more than just shoppig. And getting arrested brought media attention to the cause, which has inceased the number of signatures on the petition. She seems like a genuinely nice person.guest on Nov 26 2008 @ 05:10 PM
