HAVING A BALL WITH CHANEL

Enjoying some fun in the sun, Diane Kruger and long-time love Joshua Jackson arrive at the Chanel Party on Places des Lices in St. Tropez on May 10. The party kicked off the Cannes Film Festival and celebrated Karl Lagerfeld's short film Remember Now, showcased earlier in the day. Being one of Karl's favorite muses, Di and her beau headed south to support Chanel's mastermind, sipping wine in the afternoon sunshine and enjoying the French boules game pétanque after sundown. Dressed in a flirty black and white 'fit that epitomizes Chanel's elegance, Diane started with a lacy black cami tucked into a white A-line skirt (try Tt Collection's Bette Lace Top in Black with Shumaq's flirty Demi Skirt in White). Di kept it casual in black embellished flats (very similar to Gwyneth Shoes' Aggie T Strap Sandal in Black) and a straw fedora with a black band, wearing her hair in a messy side braid with a girly black bow tie. As a final touch, Di carried her wicker basket tote for the second outing in a row (instead of the real thing, carry a basket inspired clutch like Zambos & Siega's Brigitte Oversized Clutch in Natural). I love Di's summery look but I just don't see how this accessory would translate to the real world – would any of you consider carrying around such a bulky basket? Diane and her man have been relaxing in the south of France for the past few days, both enjoying some time off the set between projects. And what better way to relax than on a yacht in St. Tropez? I can't think of one!
